Wow, same age and I only have 10% of the cycles that you do. I guess I use my MacBook plugged in a lot.

Norwood is a Mid-2010 15 inch MacBook Pro with 10.11.1.
Just for fun, I tried this on my iBook since it's a universal binary.

Original battery capacity: 4400 mAh
Current battery capacity: 4137 mAh
Battery load cycles: 39
Age: 59 months

Not bad for an almost 5 year old computer. :)

I mostly use mine plugged in. Every now and again I will use it without the power cord, just to cycle the battery. Coconut Battery says:

Current Battery Capacity: 5156 mAh
Original Battery Capacity: 5020 mAh
100% capacity
Battery-Loadcycles: 23
Age of your Mac: 38 months

It would appear that my battery is better than when I bought this MacBook 3 years ago. Hmm.......

6 Weeks old...

6 weeks old and 16 cycles. Seems high to me but that is less than 3 cycles per week.

I think I have begun to obsess about this and it's making me insane.

I think that I may have to question these figures. 1612 weeks works out to be 31 years! I don't think that Apple was making laptop computers in 1979!!!;)

33 months, 450 cycles on 2nd battery (first died after about 350). having issues with the 2nd one as well now, like shutting off without the warning etc. even though i still have 2/3rds of the original capacity... guess its time for the third battery...

MacBook(Black) 2.4GHz Early 2008. (Bought Refurbished)
Capacity: 86%
Age: 39 Months
Loadcycles: 675
Still the original battery. Saw a replacement battery at the Apple Store for $129. I think I'll hold out until this one up and dies. Machine is usually plugged in.

Do iBooks count? If so:

Capacity: 585 or 13% (out of 4400)
Age: 72 Months
Loadcycles: 389

In desperate need of a new battery, it barely lasts 20 minutes now. :(
