How do I change History & Bookmark Panel Fonts?

When I am searching through the history and bookmarks panel in Safari... the one that opens up when you hit the history/bookmarks icon that looks like a book... I have noticed the font is a little small for my eyesight, but only when I do not not have my contacts in.
Is there a quick fix or even any fix to changing the font style and size in the left panel and the list of bookmarks?

For some reason the size of the bookmark panel stays the same even though you can increase the size of the displayed fonts in Safari. It seems that it always defaults to the smaller size.

You might want to experiment with other browsers which do display bookmarks in a larger format. Opera is very good and so is Chrome. Many folks here also use Firefox.
