Hi. Let's say I want to look at my guitar forum website on my safari browser, then I get an urge to look at another website. How can I save the first website while looking at the other? What I have done so far to accomplish this is press the apple button + N. This puts the first website "on hold." One problem with this is if I X out the second website, it brings the first website back up, and I have to press the apple button +N all over again to put it on hold.

But what if I want to look at three or more websites at a time? How can I save them all? On Windows, I could save them all at the bottom of the page and bring each one up at my convenience. How can I do the same thing on Safari?

Yes, get familiar with Tabs. First, under the View Menu, make sure Hide Tabs Bar is not appearing. If it is, click it to change to Show Tabs Bar. now, you might want to experiment with the options. Go to the Safari Menu > Preferences, then Tabs, and play with the three items there until you figure out what works best for you. There's also a Tabs related setting in the General preferences.

If you have several tabs open, you can either click on each tab at the top of the window to change between them or press command+{ or command+}.

...and you can right click (command-click) a tab and select Close Other Tabs, leaving the one you click on visible.

...and etc. etc. etc.
