Hooking up a PC to an Airport Base Station

17" iMac G5 1.6 ghz, 768 MB Ram, 80 GB HD, Combo
I am getting an iBook but my mom has a Gateway Laptop with a wireless card and everything. I was wondering if I bought an Airport Extreme Base Station is I could use the PC through it or am I gonna have to buy a regular old D-Link or Linksys for both of the computers?

As the base station is 802.11g compliant, if your moms notebook has a 802.11b/g card it should work fine...
