home folder

My home folder does not show up in finder.

It's not supposed to. Now if you mean your hard drive icon…that's a different matter.

As far as the OP. Not exactly sure where they are looking exactly…and not finding the Home folder (maybe it got moved).

Check Finder preferences (if you're talking about it not showing up in the sidebar): Finder > Sidebar.

Check Finder preferences (if you're talking about it not showing up in the sidebar): Finder > Sidebar.

That was my thought - for the OP, see the screen attachment of my Finder w/ the Preferences -> Sidebar menu option opened - my 'home folder' is checked and shows up in my sidebar (red arrows) - if that is your question, then that should be the answer. Dave :)

You don't suppose the OP means the (user's) Library which he might assume was the "Home" Library, which is hidden by default but easily revealed by clicking on Go with the Option key depressed? Just a thought....
