okay, so im not sure if this is a problem with my OS, but it seems logical since OS X Lion is rather new, and thats what I have.
I was trying to install a mod for Minecraft (If this is at all relevant) and i needed to open a .jar file with Archive Utility. On the youtube videos, every time you do that, it's supposed to create a folder. But when I open the .jar with Archive Utility, it creates a compressed file with a ".jar.cpgz" extension. When I open that, it just recreates the .jar file. I need that folder to install the mod. I figured that this might be a problem with OS X Lion because all the videos are filmed prior to Lion coming out, and I've had other problems with Lion before (it had hidden my Library folder, which was supposed to be found under my User####). Is there any way to fix this so that Archive Utility will create folders instead of .jar.cpgz's?
