Some of my folders are locked. Fonts for instance wont allow me to add any fonts to it, and this really sucks because I am into graphics and I need the ability to download new fonts.
I don't know how safe this would be, but you could try changing the permissions of the folder (apple-I) so that you own the folder, then you can unlock it and change them back to what they were when you're done.
How do I run disc Utillity, or change the permissions. And to be a little more clear I tried again and it says "The library can not be changed" not the font folder...
I downloaded a couple fonts from www.dafont.com and unzipped them unfoldered them and tried to drag the icons into the font folder and it says "Library cannot be editer or changed" I was also trying to load some file awhile back and it required me putting a file into startup folder but it wouldnt let me said samething cannot Edit or change library folder.
