Help with Xcode please

15" MacBook Pro w/ 2.4 GHz C2D, 4 GB RAM, 250 GB
I'm trying to install the xCode from my Leopard DVD, but every time I try, it says, "Unable to install. The installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install". I don't have Xcode installed on my computer already, and I don't know why I keep getting this error. If you have an suggestions, I would really appreciate them.

Just a question- did you check XCode in the Developer Tools part of the install?
