Pages in Safari look awful. I don't know what I did or how to fix it. Screenshot 2025-04-03 at 11.50.31 AM.jpg

No need for multiple threads about the same problem.

This looks like an accessibility setting has been enabled in Safari.

I just checked and nothing is selected under accessibility in settings.

We’ll, I don’t know what has caused this, but a simple starting point would be to restart your Mac - and also make sure that you have the latest version of your Operating System.

Post back after you’ve done this because it is surprising how often a restart and/or update gets rid of the difficulty.

Thanks, but I had done both those things earlier today (and did them again now) but no joy. I triple checked Accessibility, I deleted Honey extension, nothing changed. I have the latest OS 16.4 from about 2 days ago which is when I think this began.

OMG. I finally fixed it after a few hours. I went through the Safari DeBug menu line by line trying things and reverting to the original when they did not change the appearance. When I turned off Show Legacy Line Layout Coverage and went to FaceBook which had the most awful lines of all the websites I had been to, it was normal, as is this site! 😊🥳

Good job. We love it when solutions are found.
