Should be no problem putting a 200 Gb SATA in that enclosure but remember the interface is still USB 2.0 which means it's limited to 480 MBS. Sometimes a drive will pull too much power for a single USB port. You might want to buy a two connector USB cable which can be plugged into two USB ports at once for more power.

Or use a powered hub.

should i really be worried about powering this thing? im using a powerbook g4, i was going to try and find a low energy usage drive. thanks guys. i'm trying to do this cheap so i'll end up with 120 or 160 gigs.
