Help. MacBook Pro severely damaged. What do i do?

I bought a Macbook Pro 8 months ago. On tour it was water damaged and the repair estimate is about 1450. Most of the internal hardware was damaged, just about everything but the screen. Is there somewhere i can get it fixed for cheaper? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you basically need the entire notebook to be rebuilt if most everything inside is damaged. That's going to be incredibly expensive (as you've discovered). I doubt you're going to find something much cheaper and it's probably just better to bite the bullet and get a new one. Any chance insurance will cover any part of the loss?
