Purchased used ibook g3 with 10.4 for my daughter. Came with disc. Cleaned up hard drive then tried to reinstall 10.4. Apparently this is an upgrade disc says I need 10.3 or later installed on computer to install. I do not have. Any suggestions? Do I have to buy 10.3 os? Any help would be appreciated. I no nothing about Mac. Thank you.

After you upgrade to Tiger make sure you run the latest tiger update
