I recently installed doc doctor and changed my doc around and then set back to OS defaults but this has not worked. I now have a solid black line as a spacer and when a current application is open instead of a glowing light i get a weird white arrow head. I have deleted the .plist and .db dock files and completely uninstalled dock dr. still nothing. I phoned apple support and they took the easy route and told me to re install my operating system. Please someone tell me how to get rid of these features thanks...

hmmm... i have one thing you can possibly try... but it probably wont work as a heads up. But it might so try it,

Download LeopardDocks App here

then when you installed the app and have it opened select "Original Dock" and click "Change my Dock!" ..... if all goes correct your dock should be reverted to its orignal dock

again since your dock was changed with a different app it probably wont work, but give it a try anyways. let me know how it goes.

good luck.

It being a 3rd Party App,  support arnt really going to put a HUGE effort into it. And then having another 3rd party App to fix a 3rd Party App, it not the sort of thing the Geniuses think of ...

Glad the problem is fixed though :)

Cheers

tattooed mac does have a point tho

but you'd think they'd have a different way than reinstalling the OS to fix/revert to the orignal dock :/
