Has anyone ever seen this

Well yesterday something got on my email account and was sending links to viruses to all my contacts. Today I decided to delete all my contacts. While doing to the following picture kept poping up at random.. I was wondering if anyone has seen this or has any advice for me.

I have never seen that, but just close the window and you should be fine.

I did but it poped up twice. But the weird thing is that something got on my email and sent emails to all my contacts trying to infect them.

Interesting, try downloading one of those demo anti virus apps, and run it. Post back with results.

I am right now. I downloaded macscan. I'll let everyone know. This is a big issue for us mac users now. Hopefully apple releases a security update soon for this or something.

First you cannot access your Finder the way to shows you in the background behind the "Apple Security Alert" window through a browser.

Then the font in the Cancel and Remove All buttons is wrong, apple uses a font which most other computers do not have for them.
So all of what you are seeing is a very clever webpage script that uses javascript to show you the "Apple Security Alert" window.
The so called finder window in the background is probably a picture or a lot of css and images.

I have come across this once before, and having a slight background in webpage development I immediately saw it was a fake.

I'd be very surprised if you actually had anything on your computer that isn't a .exe that Mac can't do anything with anyway.

I saw this come across the wire a few days ago. Apparently they are rebranding it as well...
