- Go to Finder
- Finder drop down menu
- Preferences
- Deselect what you wish

Hello and welcome to the forum! :) Let me suggest that for the next thread you start, please provide much more information about your system and the problem(s) you want solved - such a terse opening statement just makes us guess for a potential solution.

BUT, I'm assuming that you are seeing you 'disk' icons on the desktop (don't know if you mean the internal drive or drives or attached devices, such as an external HD, CD/DVD player etc.)? You can determine what 'drives' appear on your desktop by using Finder -> Preferences; see the attached screen shot - I've unchecked my internal drive (SSD) - if desired all can be unchecked - I hope this is your question, otherwise offer more specific details.
