Hack parallels Desktop?

Hey dudes! I was wondering, is there any way of hacking parallels desktop to make it run DirectX? Even to make apps think it's DX and not whatever the iMac uses. I'm not really bothered, but it would be helpful for games so I don't have to restart. Just if anyone finds a hack, it would help

You must be running a beast if you can run OSX, Emulation of XP or Vista and a Game? Before you get your hopes up are you sure it can run it.

VMWare Fusion has DirectX 8 capability, so if you're really intent on running games in a virtualized window, try that out.

I should warn you though, it's not going to be a fun experience.

nah, It's fine, I just wanted to know if I could...I looked into VMWare, but only after I got parallels, so...
Oh, and it is a beast! Brand new iMac!

VMware is beta and free, so there's not cost to try. I would just use Bootcamp though.
