Graphics Card Issue?

HI - I am having this issue with my Macbook Pro (see image). Not sure how to resolve this, is this a graphics card issue?

remember older model MacBooks had issues with the nvidia GPU going nuts in them when this happens its basically time for a new macbook or spend 600.00 and have them replace the main board which will have the same issue again.
