Google Chrome Launch Issues

I am having issues launching chrome on my MBP. I see that the files have been downloaded but when I try to launch Google chrome,it does not launch anything and no errors as well .

I see Google Chrome files under :/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default

Any thoughts might help?

2022 Mac Studio M1 Max, 2023 M2 MBA
How did you download this? The DMG file and you installed in Applications? Why are you looking inside the Library location?
