Good replacement SSD for my MB Pro

I have a 2010 MB pro 7,1, and need to replace the SSD. Can anyone recommend a good one for a reasonable price? I'm looking at a 500 gb, with at least half for OS X and half for elementary OS. OWC has one for 74 bucks, and I've seen some online for about 50 bucks or so made by SanDisk, and other brands. Which brands are good and which ones to avoid?

Depends on how much you want to spend. Generally, OWC makes good products and stands by them for support and returns.

But you can go with other brands if you choose as long as they are compatible.
