Going crazy here (freezes and hangs)

It's learned a new trick: now it will start iTunes but freeze up when I play a song. I'm thinking the clone from the previous HDD obviously didn't quite take, so I'm probably going to have to take the computer back to the people who did it. This is frustrating. I like being able to handle these things myself.

Unfortunately, for some, that is getting harder and harder to do with the later Macs and Operating Systems. Just like " fixing" some of our cars, they have become well beyond the weekends mechanics abilities.

That being said, though, this is not new hardware (Mac Pro 3.1) or software (El Capitan). Heck, maybe El Capitan is the problem itself.
