After installing Sierra I have been getting the repeated message "Disk Not Ejected Properly" for my G-Drive which I use for my Time Machine. I have checked and I am backing up successfully. I have run Disk Utility and OnyX and the drive appears to be working ok. I suspect that when the computer sleeps the G-Drive is somehow not responding when TM wants to do another incremental backup. I went into Energy Saver and shut off the command "Put hard disks to sleep when possible" but I'm still getting many notices of "Disk Not Ejected Properly" whenever I'm not actively on the machine.
Any thoughts as to what I might change to stop what I believe to be a false message?
Any help will be appreciated.
