But TechToolDeluxe has done a couple of full scans and finds no problems at all, any tips?
Techtool and Apple Hardware Test doesn't always find a fault, unless something is totally dead. But TechToolDeluxe has done a couple of full scans and finds no problems at all
Thanks for the help, I bought this RAM:
OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1066MHz Laptop Memory Kit CL8 1.5V | Ebuyer.com
Guess i'll have to sell it and get crucial RAM or something, I wasnt aware Mac can be picky with RAM, lesson learnt.
I cant find OWC in the UK, and Crucial is £110 for the 4GB kit
When you live here, waiting a few days for quality RAM to arrive isn't really an issueAnd you will find just as we do in Australia, OWC, even with first class USPS mail, to be much, much cheaper than local suppliers with delivery in seven days. They are Mac specialist with lifetime warranty on their memory.
Glad you're up and running again!MDJCM Took out 1 of the modules, laptop runs fine, swapped in the other one, laptop works fine. Gonna put both back in, maybe it just wasnt happy on first install.
Glad you're up and running again!
