G4 iphoto locked

My G4 whom I luv,luv luv, has decided to lock up all my pictures in iphoto. I can look, but not open or copy. Please help me to make them available again. Thx

Have you tried restarting your Mac and then open and run Disk Utility, select your boot volume and click the Repair Permissions..., maybe also click and run the Verify Disk as well???

Thank you. We are cross country owner operators and my G4 is back home, so when I get back home the end of next week, I will do this.
