G4 DA video upgrade

Well I got ripped off getting a G5 on craigslist, so I am trying to make the best of a bad situation. The G5 had a Radeon AGP card with 128MB ram. My G4 DA only has a Radeon with 64MB. I'm not sure if the G5 radeon will work in the G4. I think the G4 is an AGP 4x and the G5 is AGP 8x. Any ideas?

Depends on what model G5. Late 2005 are PCI-E so no, models before perhaps. Try it and see.

I could just stick it in, but I want to make sure it won't damage my G4.
