Good day..
Has anyone ever had success in re-wiring a common PSU to retro fit in G4?
I have seen some info on YouTube but curious if any one here has any insight to this. I would like to attempt this myself but if need be i would gladly have someone of confidence do this. Any suggestions? My unit has mysteriously ceased to operate, no power what so ever. Harryb helped me resurrect this unit once before..I refuse to let it die!!
Thanks!

Once again Harryb to the rescue! That is so helpful as the video I saw did refer to this schematic and wondered where I could find it.
If i have no power what so ever, no lights on the board, nothing. Would it be safe to presume the psu is faulty? I attempted the reset to no avail.
Thank you again Harry, I really appreciate it.

First up check out if you are using a power board if that is okay, and if a power point it is working fine. Next step take apart the power supply and there is usually an indication of a short of some description within the box. Often on forums there are reports of a fuse blown and a replacement working. If the PS is shot one of the Samsung units will work on a MDD and no doubt at a much cheaper price. Have a look at this link and hang in there Reiner:-
