Well, the display was suddenly posted as sold after someone here questioned the claim that it was a 30" display... which it was not.

At least based on the pics posted here it wasn't a 30" display.

You can tell by the photos.

The Power Mac G5 has a depth of 18.5 inches. It's height is 20 inches.
A 30" display has a width of 27.5 inches. The height of 30" display is 21.3 inches.

In other words, a very noticeable difference when placed directly next to a Power Mac G5. It is both longer and taller than the G5 tower.
Look at those pictures again and you will see that the display is clearly not a 30" Cinema display. The display in those pics is more likely a 23".

Yeah when I read it was a 30" Cinema Display and how the proportions were really off, I did a doubletake but thought I'd better not hijack the thread.

omg check this out; that dannyar guy stole my pix and claiming my pc is his!

i have proof! he sent me PM yesterday wanting to buy my laptop (cuz he is a member on here as well!)....and then we started emailing back and forth (i can forward those emails to anyone as well)

he was supposed to be buying it today and i havent heard from him since yesterday after i gave him all the details needed (and extra pix) that he requested

its not fair im getting looked at as a bad/scam seller because its not what it appears!! i will prove to anybody who asks!

I WANT A MOD TO CONTACT ASAP SO I CAN FORWARD EMAILS, PM ETC SO THEY CAN REVIEW AND PUBLICLY CLEAR MY NAME!

Well your original post at here still lists your computer as a Quad G5. Why have you not edited the original post and corrected it to reflect it is a Dual 1.8. And this guy comes in and states he had a Dual 1.8 with your pics, and now says it's a Quad G5.. You understand everyones concerns now??? It looks like it's not kosher.. Maybe they are one and the same..

That's fine, but you still need to edit your original post here, as you still list it as a Quad G5 2.5ghz and you state it is a 1.8 Dual G5 later in the thread after someone caught it at another forum. The original post is very misleading..

as stated above i contacted schweb and he unfortunately told me the same thing he just posted...so looks like i have to fix this myself...everyone who posted something about this (except machead and schweb cuz i already forwarded it you) is about to get a fowarded pm from me that was originally from danny to me...expressing interest in my g5...who would express interest in their own item???? and if in fact i WAS selling and stealing his pictures and posing thm as mine (which im noT!) why would he not have put me on blast when he saw i was selling?????

Hi, sorry I didn't respond sooner. You have probably seen me posting
this item for sale on forums. I just wanna clear up that my intention
was basically trying to get a feel for what I could sell it for once
we completed our sale. My intention was not to scam anyone but merely
selling it as I already intended to purchase from you so I got a head
start on listing it. Then everyone caught on to your post and confused
everyone. From the reaction I was getting the market for this system
they are saying is 650-750.after doing some research I indeed found
the same system on ebay for 638 which I have purchased.thanks for the
communication.
