hi

can anyone tell me how i can get a couple of my movies onto my friends
ipod. ( i own the movies no copywright issues)

each time we open up his ipod, itunes tells us his ipod is synced to his library and wants to either erase and sync his library

when all i want to do is add to his ipod? is there a way round this other than
burning to disc for his to load on his laptop?

regards

Have you tried "Enable Disk use" on his iPod, then simply drag and drop the movie into his ipod?

Ride is right. You have to drop the movies onto his iPod using it as a removeable disk (in finder). itunes doesn't work because you can only modify the iPods library with the iTunes it has been synced with. "Don't steal music" and that stuff, you know?

unfortunately you can't watch the videos (if it's an iPod video) on this iPod right away when you just dropped it on the disk. Your friend has to copy it onto his mac (or PC) and add it with his iTunes.

When you get that alert, click "Cancel", then select the iPod in iTunes and enable "Manual Sync". Then simply drag the movies in question to the iPod icon in iTunes and upload away.
