In Bali and Indonesia generally, everyone rides motor scooters from a very early age.

Motorcycles are popular everywhere practically. But here in the U.S. they are mostly only for recreation.

I went to a party a while back, and met a nice guy from Spain. We got to talking about motorcycles, and he told me that he can't understand why women don't want to jump on his bike with him. He said that in Spain women love motorcycles. But not here in the U.S. He couldn't understand it.

My friend had a Kawie 1000 +-. We swapped as he wanted to see what a hound dog was like. LOL I started up on a major intersection in town and proceeded totally unbidden to do a wheelie, half way across the very large 5 direction intersection. What a fright i got !

Hahaha! I have a similar story! The same day that I got my Suzuki, I went out for a leisurely ride to become familiar with it. A guy with a custom Firebird made a big deal about passing me. I told myself that I had a new very powerful motorcycle, and that I didn't have to take it.

So...I shifted down a gear and grabbed a handful of throttle. I proceeded to do a huge unintended wheelie for about half a block. I don't know how I managed to hold on to the bike and keep my tush in the saddle. The front wheel came back down and I pulled over and got my heart out of my throat. I vowed never to show off ever again!

I never told my wife that story. As it is, everytime that I go out for a ride she thinks that she'll never see me alive again. ;)

Hi Jim B

Oh I do like the ***** cat on the seat of your Honda. Lovely.

I have had Siamese cats all my married life; just one left now aged 13 and a half.

Thanks Randy, I have found many a useful application from your lists in the past. I agree with Backlighting that it would be useful to have the latest applications marked in some way. I am Michael Pennamacoor migrating from the Mac-L list.

I have had a few Hondas, currently running a Forza 300,

I think I would feel naked on such a bike without a gas tank to grip with my knees... 😉

RE my Post #43:

Isn't it sad that referring to a cat with an adjective before it causes the automatic replacement by **** ?

The adjective can most certainly have other meanings - especially in the USA, very much less so in the UK. We rarely, if ever, use that word other than in relation to cats.

I must make it clear, I'm not complaining. I'm just saddened that it is necessary these days to block that word even if used in a proper manner:censored::sd

Not having read your previous post yet it took me a second to realise what you were talking about there. You're referring to ***** I guess.

Addit. Yep, it happens here too.

i went to a party on my bike and somehow ended up in a conversation with a girl who told me in no uncertain terms that she wanted nothing to do with motorcycles. No idea if she knew i had one. So i assumed... well so much for this one. Long story but she had no ride afterwards and somehow i was the one who drove her home and we ended up living in sin for about 6 months, at which point her religion was the barrier to betrothal and i took off to see the sky. (BTW I didn't drive a cab or get high :ROFLMAO:)
