First of many?

I don't really have anything serious against Flash except as a vehicle for video delivery (and, as a Mac user, I'm tired of Adobe treating us like second-class citizens of the web).

I have to say that their site seems just as whiz-bang as before they removed the Flash, so I would have to say I welcome any moves towards a plugin-free web site. I suspect they will be well-rewarded by not just iPhone and iPad users, but lots of people on netbooks (which can't really do Flash all that well either) also.

I hope its the start of a trend ... not because I'm a mindless Flash hater (I'm not), but because proprietary plugins for "basic" web surfing is a bad idea.
