So randomly... I don't remember when Fire Fox started not displaying pages properly...

It is VERY similar to an ad blocker with 2 strict of settings or having cookies turned off, but it didn't happen after adding an ad blocker or updating or anything like that, I am using AdBlock Plus but I removed it and nothing changed.

Is there some setting I can try or some file or code I can show you guys to try and tell where the issue is? I don't know if it is a ad blocker issue, a FF security issue or a cookies issue.

For example, I have had before with add blockers or private browsing where Youtube comments wont show up etc, well right now the comments show up but not the box for me to type one. I also can't up or down vote on Reddit, and Rightstuffanime . com wont load at all... but 90% of wedsites work 90-100% it's very strange.

I am on macOS 10.15.7 and FF 108.0.1 but it has had the same issues since the 90.s versions.

First thing I would do is try a different browser.
I have had problems lately with FF rendering pages with bits and pieces missing that should be there.

Yeah other browsers work but I want to use Fire Fox, it's the only one thats stable with my multiple tabs and windows, I use it on my 2 other computers as well fine, only this one has developed an issue. Like I have said it's similar to haveing cookies off or 2 strict of security settings.

You know what... It could be old out of date Nvidia drivers I can't update for the Nvidia 650M.... that would be really unfortunate.....

Here are several suggestions from a Google search you might want to have a read or look at and see if any might solve your problem:

I can't up vote or on reddit and the comment bow wont load just like Youtube, does that mean something is blocking Javascript?

The only site I have found to give me an error is Mega backup or Mega.io

"Sorry, we were unable to initialize the browser's local storage, either you're using an outdated/misconfigured browser or it's something from our side.

If you think it's our fault, please report the issue back to us.

Reason: [Exception... "File error: Corrupted" nsresult: "0x8052000b (NS_ERROR_FILE_CORRUPTED)" location: "JS frame :: https://mega.io/secureboot.js?r=1671058114 :: <TOP_LEVEL> :: line 564" data: no]
Browser: mozilla/5.0 (macintosh; intel mac os x 10.15; rv:108.0) gecko/20100101 firefox/108.0"

If that is any help?

You can easily turn of Site Protection from the Shield icon on Firefox address bar, so it's easy to test if that is a problem. Screenshot 2022-12-18 at 11.52.09 am.png

What exactly are your other computers?
If they are Macs, if you run the same version of FF on them (as the problem FF) and if you are accessing the same website and it works fine, then the issue is either a setting on FF or some corruption of FF.

Unless I am mistaken, the FireFox version "mozilla/5.0" was released about 2011 and would certainly be well out of date these days unless it is just stating some other General information.

If you can't find anything in the Settings that's causing your problem, maybe maybe thoroughly Trash FF and everything associated with it and reinstall it with a new clean up-to-date version.

Nope, didn't change, it's some deeper issue

I have a Gaming PC, I could try on my moms Mac but I'm sure it will be fine, something happened on this machine with my settings.

IDK why it says that, I'm on version 108 like it says later in that message and I can't do a full dirty delete until I fully backup my open tabs and windows, I have a tab session manager extention but I think that is only stored locally.

Hmmm...??? And here I was under the understanding that is basically what a tab session manager it's supposed to do. ;-)

Have you tried setting up a new Admin "TestUser", and then try using your FF and also the site's you are having trouble with I'm going to see if that works better or not.

Have you tried with all your Firefox extensions disabled???

And you might want to try some of these suggestions already offered and see if anything actually changes. You can't be "sure" or assume until you actually try.

Then maybe check the FF Help and/or their forums site for possible suggestions or help.
