Hi everybody, hope you are all well?

On my M1 Mac Mini, in Finder I've noticed that thumbnail images aren't being displayed. I just get a generic icon.

If I relaunch Finder it works OK for a short while, and then the thumbnails disappear again.

Any suggestions for a solution to this rather annoying issue? As a photographer I rely on thumbnails for a quick way of knowing which image is in which file.

thanks as ever, Nick

Hi Nick! How are you doing?

I'd suggest trashing the Finder plist file in YourUserName/Library/Preferences
If that is not familiar to you, to find that folder, hold Option and click on the Go Menu, then select Library

doing OK thanks - waiting for my latest blood test results (tomorrow) so a little stressed over those but what can you do!?!

OK, deleted that file and relaunched Finder. Hopefully that's fixed it!
