Experienced a wonderful IT support from NTS IT CARE

I have been getting non-sense pop-ups from the last 1 week on my PC and was totally fed up with that (I guess - those were some kind of promotional popups of deals). Tried a lot to fix it from my side but unfortunately i am not a tech expert. So i called NTS IT Care to help me out with that and they help me in that as well. Now, i am not getting those pop-ups again which is a good thing. But i am very much curious to know how those freaking things were appearing on my desktop screen.

Was it because of any software installation, virus or something else??

Hmmm…??? Curious as to where the OP got the NTS IT CARE phone number to call from…??? Wouldn't have been one of those desktop popups by any chance???

Now, I'd at least head off and download and run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac

But if the NTS IT CARE people installed anything like "LogMeIn" or any Remote Access software, I'd be looking into removing it and God only knows what or how much you might have paid for their "service" or be on the hook for.
