Yeah, I believe the program "Evidence Eliminator" does that. If you REALLY wanted it gone their are also a few viruses you can get that will completely destory the HD if you really wanted to go that far.

there is something that earases your disk drive like 5-8 times..can't remember exaclty how many times..but I think that's when you reformat your hardrive.

secure erase, justs writes random binary to the drive so that the data can't be recovered. A regular erase just rewrites the catolog.

Doesn't matter what you do on your hard drive. Your ISP will log all the file transfers which can be subpoenaed to the court.
