yup, mine is also 10.4.11 Well, I emailed the person I bought the card from and I'm hoping to either get another one or a refund. There is a 30 day money back so..... It's got to be the card then.

I would think that it would have to be the card as well...especially since your iBook works fine. Good luck with the refund.

update..... got another airport card from another person and got it today. It works!!! After all that. Popped it in, configured it and got the wireless icon and internet connection :)
The first card was just bad. I contacted the seller and heard nothing back. I finally just contacted ebay to report the seller since they did say they offer a 30 day money back. After ebay contacted the seller, I hear from them and they refunded my money. All worked out well. I'm sure seller was not happy but... oh well....

Hey...awesome to hear the 2nd card works!!!:) Having a bad card really makes the troubleshooting process tough (if it is assumed the card is good).

Too bad about the 1st seller not honoring their claimed 30-day warranty (you can see that was worth nothing...just empty words)...but great to hear you got your money back.:)

Congrats again...and thanks for the update!:)
