When I right click any photo and select "Edit in external editor" my Adobe Elements launches but does not display the photo...just a grey screen.
If I do the same from finder everything works ok...what could be wrong?

No, it's not old - I just downloaded it! I'm new to MAC, so my previous copy was Windows.

What I've now done is to move my photos to another folder on my MAC and I have referenced Iphoto to look at that folder (without keeping copies in Iphoto). When I edit now I choose the file from Finder rather than within Iphoto.

Thanks for your reply...

you have chosen the wrong elements program. You need to choose the adobe photoshop elements editor (under the support files folder) when choosing the external editor in iPhoto.

THANK YOU!!! I chose the same file name (but admittedly a different path), but now it works just fine....appreciate your help very much :)
