Early Mac Pro 2008 10.9.5 with Radeon HD 5450?

Does anybody know if it's possible to run a Radeon HD5450 under an early Mac Pro 2008 OS10.9.5? I'm not very gifted in things like that, sorry... Thank you for your help!

Have a read of this. Mixed performance I am afraid. A 5780/5880 would be much better.

If this was the strategy all along…you could have done this before asking the question.

Just stick it in…and see if it works. If it doesn't…then post a question.

No, it doesn't seems to be so easy like this... (I've tried this already, naturally...) I have to change some .kext-files etc., but naturally each page tells me different things... when someone has a working solution (the right kext files), please tell it to me!
