E-mail

I went from a PC to an iMac about 5 months ago. An Apple-user friend set things up for me and I'm very happy with the change. However, I continue to use Quest DSL and msn.com. Up until yesterday, my msn e-mail transferred automatically to my Mac (the eagle stamp on my dock). Suddenly it stopped. I can receive mail at msn, but not Mac. I contacted both help lines and the mac guy told me that it doesn't support msn, or hotmail or HTTP. I don't get it. Why the sudden change and stop? Thanks. I'm not very good with computers anyway, so be patient if I don't understand your language.
