Hi All!
This might be a dopey question, but I sure can not figure out how to accomplish what I thought was a simple task, despite lots of trying & internet searching.
I have A DVD RW that I would like to erase, hopefully securely. The disk has two images on it. (I think they are called "images". They appear in finder as separate drives on the disk.)
When I erase it in Disk Utility, the names of the images don't get erased, but the data inside is, indeed, erased.
Is there a method that I missed in all my searching for removing the actual names of the disks to, when mounted, the drive appears totally empty?
And can a Secure Erase be done?
I sure appreciate your advice!
Paul
