DVD Movies

Hello,

Switching the household over to macs, and had a question.

Do the Macbook and iMac come with the required software to watch DVD movies? I was using an older iMac (the one with the bulb on the bottom and the monitor on the arm.) and it was unable to play DVD's without purchasing additional software.

All the new Mac's come with the needed software to watch DVD's and you can listen to CD's.
