appreciate some asistance...please !!!! have just read the 'announcement' re dvd ripping and quickly note my request is strictly LEGAL ripping ..whatever that is ???.. have just spent a frustrating half hour trying to decipher the pluses and minuses of the 'wondershare' dvd copying/converting/etc programmes and now completely confused!!!too many variations ,too many programmes ..which all seem to duplicate one another???.
where can i find a laymans breakdown of 'how to' copy a dvd on my mac ..
without incurring the roth of the gods??.... a simple means and programme to hopefully give me a quality end result ???.

If it's truly not a commercial DVD, all you need is Handbrake.

Alternatively, you can use Disk Utility to make a disc image.

Absolutely, it did. We don't refer people to software that breaks encryption - because that would be illegal (at least in the US).

I prefer toast and/or popcorn for mac. They are both great programs and very reliable. I end up with very few coasters and most if the time it is a defect in the disc, not a fault of the programs.

Ah ok, apologies. I didn't realise that we couldn't mention that software at all.
