i really dont know if i should completely get rid of my PC i just got a mac mini G4, i dont wanna get rid of it coz there is stuff you can get on the PC that you cant Get on the mac. HELP!!!!

I'd say keep it just in case. u can always use it to store all ur music and videos instead of crowding ur Mac Mini. Also u can use it for the occasional gaming as well.

Back when I got my Mac Mini G4 I kept my PC (actually, it was a Linux box, but still) nearby for about three months after I moved everything over to the new Mac expecting to possibly need it for something or other.

It stayed off and silent for that entire time, and then it went into a closet after I pulled its drive to put into a firewire enclosure to attach to my Mac.

Today I have a Macbook, the old Mini is at my parents' house being used by them and the old PC is still in the closet. One of these days when I get around to cleaning out the closet it'll probably get donated to someone or parted out.

My wife's old PC sits here under a desk and has been off since I put it there.

Sometimes it's good to have both if you have programs that aren't universal.

I'm thinking about getting a "cheap" laptop (pc) so I can load on my Spanish program and some of my other programs that I don't want on my Mac.

And, I don't want to go with Parallels or BootCamp either. Just want my Mac with no Windows on it.
