Does this sound like spyware? How else could this have happened to my iPhone?

I opened my iPhone the other day and all of my Notes had been sent, each one in an individual iMessage, to one of my contacts. This particular contact has a history of spying and he's had solo access to my phone before, as well as my iCloud password (now changed). How could this have happened? Any ideas? Thank you.

There you go. If your phone is not jail broken, what most likely was done was to access your notes at the iCloud website, with your password and then sending them by Mail, also at the iCloud website.

My phone is not jailbroken... But my notes are not on iCloud. I do not have them set up to sync with iCloud and I even checked the website, nothing's there. Plus, the messages were sent with iMessage, which I don't see on the iCloud site. Thanks for your first suggestion, but maybe another idea? Hmmm.
