An odd thing started to happen today as my dock decided to stop working. If i mouse over it may or may not attempt to open, and if it does it only gets about halfway before hiding.
I have deleted the two dock pref files.
Spaces will not work either. When I try to change the hot corners for the mouse it temporarily changes in the drop down menu before going right back to a "-".
(I am running a macbook pro that had a hard drive failure earlier this month, and have recently reinstalled leopard 10.5.4 on a brand new hard disk...maybe a hardware problem?)
Also:
Do i really need my dock? I am becoming more comfortable with Quicksilver anyway. If "dock recovery" is impossible what are some tips for a dockless mac exp?
