Just to be clear, which update you talking about? Were you running Yosemite 10.10.2 and just went to 10.10.3?

How are you trying to download torrent. Do you mean the Torrent file from the WEB you open in your torrent client?

Sorry about duplicate posts. This is my first time posting a question. I will make sure I dont do it again.
Yes I was running 10.10.2 and now I am running 10.10.3.
Whats happening is when I try to open the torrent file from the web, I click on it in my download folder and it doesn't open at all. Nothing happens the same thing when I try to open uTorrent ( download manager ), when I click to open it my safari page kinda flickers. Everything else seems to work. So I am not sure if its an issue caused by the update. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks....

Did UTorrent and the torrent files work before you went to 10.10.3? If so, maybe a change in the new update broke it. Can you try another torrent program? Also check the U-Torrent page and see if there is an update.

I will check my iMac later and see if my client still work. I use it mostly for OS like Linux downloads.

Will report back.

It worked fine before I did the update. I have tried 3 different torrent sites. All with the same result. I will check out the utorrent site to see if there is anything there. Thanks!

Cool, I was just going to report that I use Vuze for the few things I get and it would not work till I updated Jave and then works great!

Glad they did an update and you are up and running!
