Hi, can anyone tell me how to remove an icon displayed in the top toolbar at the desktop please?

Try holding down your Command key and drag the icon from the top tool bar to the desktop and let it go. Also, most third party software have an option to keep the icon in the top tool bar or remove it, so you want to check the app options first.

Thanks chscag. The application did not come with an option to hide or remove the icon, however I just noticed that if I removed the app and re-started my mac, the quick icon was also gone.

The application did not come with an option to hide or remove the icon, however I just noticed that if I removed the app and re-started my mac, the quick icon was also gone.


Yup. That'll sure fix the problem it caused for sure. :D
