Hi All,

Easy question from a newbie to OS X...

I recently deleted some files I didn't mean to, so maybe i'm just getting paranoid. I have an alias for my Applications folder on the desktop that I no longer want. It's an alias, has the arrow and says so in the GetInfo. Now, when i take that into the trash can, and look at it in the trash window in column view, it shows all my applications... without arrows, they are all the originals. This is a little confusing to me. I of course don't want to throw all these Apps away! Could someone clarify? THANKS!

Tim

Remember the alias will point you back to the original. So if you do double click on it. it will take you to the original application folder.
