Delete obsolete wifi network

currently running os x yosemite on iMac

new modem installed, all good
power outage, network 'disappeared'
set up new network
now network #1 has reappeared and cant get rid of the friggin thing----cant log in, cant use, but always pops up as an option, but i think it's channeling some usage
pls advise

Your Mac's Specs
2022 Mac Studio M1 Max, 2023 M2 MBA
Go to System Preferences->Network. Click on Wi-Fi on the left if not already selected and then click on Advanced. On the WiFi tab you will see all the networks listed, select the ones you want to delete and hit the minus key. Hit OK to save.
