Delete emoji keyboard from iPad (17.5.1)

I type in various languages and set the appropriate keyboard by scrolling through the options via the "world" icon.
However, I never use the smiley faces but when I scroll through my various languages I always meet the emoji keyboard on the way. Is there any way to delete this permanently? Or failing a full-blown delete, can I at least disable it? Thanks in advance. M
