Delete ALL data from Music app in iPhone 14.

I'm not a fan of the Apple Music app, but I'm to lazy to find a replacement. I deleted all of the songs from the app, but there is still some data there, songs etc.

I have a feeling that what is remaining is probably music that has been bought through the Apple store.

I want to flush EVERYTHING related that involves the Music app. Songs, albums, pictures of albums and whatever.

EVERYTHING!!

No matter what I try there is always something left in the app.

I want to start as if the iphone was just bought.

All of my music that I care about is saved on an external drive solely for that purpose.

Have you tried on line in iCloud, and removing everything from, then syncing.

Jim B has made a very useful suggestion.

But, as far as paid-for music, you may find that the better approach is to open iTunes/Music and then select and delete the paid-for music.

My reasoning, such as it might be, is that purchased music stays on your Mac and its only involvement with iCloud is for syncing - ie it is not "stored as such" in iCloud.

See if that works and post back if you please.

You can delete the iOS Music app. Then re-download it.
