Current update for CCC

This update addresses a handful of failure conditions of Apple's APFS replication utility which CCC is using temporarily in response to a bug that Apple introduced in macOS 10.15.5. We have also improved the task configuration workflow for new backup tasks, and we've added some documentation around this functionality: Cloning macOS System volumes with Apple Software Restore, Creating and restoring data-only backups, Troubleshooting APFS Replication.

I didn't know about this or maybe I missed it. To my knowledge it hasn't presented any problems for me but anybody else?

What update are you referring to? The latest update from Bombich to CCC is 5.1.19 which he issued last week.

The problem with APFS replication is past news and talked about in several threads here and also at MacRumors. CCC was quickly updated to overcome that problem. SuperDuper! has so far not been updated as far as I know.

Yes, thats the one Chas, Version 5.1.19 (6027), we're a little behind here "downunder", I only got the update today. So, yes I do remember something about that bug being mentioned now but at the time I had no context. I'll reread it.

Can’t leave, can’t arrive. Travel restrictions prevent us from leaving Australia. There are no flights to Bali. Bali will not allow direct entry at this time either. Must go Singapore, Jakarta, Denpasar with a virus check at each port so maybe August?
